An Eight-Week Therapeutic YOGA Journey for PREGNANCY
“I thought the earth remembered me, she took me back so tenderly…
By morning I had vanished at least a dozen times into something better.”
— Mary Oliver, Sleeping in the Forest
Pregnancy is a process of undoing and becoming, a liminal space between past and future.
Between the two, lies the Self: steady, strong, and unchanging.
In each moment, there is a brand new opportunity to return to this truth.
Over eight weeks, this Therapeutic Prenatal Yoga series offers slow, intentional movement for those in their second and third trimesters.
With the breath as our steady companion, we will move with reverence, honoring our changing bodies and—with the quiet presence of the moon as teacher and friend—fine tune our understanding of the cyclical nature of change.
The practice will deepen over time, culminating in a peak posture that holds and opens the body in preparation for the remainder of pregnancy and birth.
With only eight spaces available, this series provides an intimate container for movement, reflection, and community.
Each participant will also receive a one-on-one intake session before the series begins to share their experiences of pregnancy and their hopes for the Yoga journey.

Meet Your Teacher, Alix Joslyn, M.S., 500-RYT: Yoga has been a steady presence in my life since I first stepped onto the mat as a teenager. What began as movement soon became a deeper practice of grounding, self-inquiry, and transformation. I’ve been teaching since 2014 as a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (500-RYT), and I am currently completing my certification as an Individual Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) through the Yoga Well Institute, studying in the Viniyoga tradition of T. Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. I offer Yoga as a practice of ritual and self-discovery. Whether navigating change, seeking relief from pain, or simply making space to breathe, there is a practice to support your journey. I look forward to working together!
